#raizeldesign_parshapost was a year-long project. Every week, through one full cycle of the weekly Torah reading, I illustrated the name of the week's Torah portion, putting thought into the imagery and the style of each image to convey a message found in the Parshah and its name. As each image was completed, it was uploaded to Instagram accompanied by a short essay or poem. This illustration for Parshas Shemos depicts that moment when Moshe spotted the burning bush and so taught us the lesson that while we may be burned, we will never be consumed.
